Are you thinking about getting a family pet? Today we investigate the various issues that need to be considered when getting pets and kids together. We’ll also think about the benefits to the family of owning a pet. It’s important to know what factors to think about when choosing a pet.
I also talk a bit about my own childhood and our experiences with pets. These ranged from the tiny, fishy kind through to the much beloved and greatly missed tiny bird variety. Sadly, we never got a dog but our miniature animal friends certainly provided plenty of opportunities for love and laughter.
In the next episode of Parents in the Know we will have a look at dummies, also known as pacifiers, binkies, bo-bos, comforters, and soothers. The pros, the cons, the haters and the rabid fans – Dummies: Do They Really Suck? Next time on Parents in the Know.
