Show Notes

Today’s episode is a little different in content. I want to help you get to know me a bit better so this is the first of a series of episodes (I’ll put another one in the series out every couple of months between more informative episodes) about me: who I am, where I’m from, where I’m going and what I stand for.

Today I’ll tell you about my story of assisted conception and becoming a single mother by choice. Learn more about the process behind donor insemination in Australia.

My story was a very positive one and I was very fortunate. But it is not always such a smooth ride. Fertility issues cause heartache for many would-be parents and even with the wonderful options and technology available today, many people still struggle to achieve the family of their dreams.

In the next episode of Parents in the Know we will investigate bullying in the modern world, a topic that frequently catches our eye as we learn about a child who has run away or harmed themselves because of online cruelty from peers or strangers. Bullying today, what it is, why it happens and how to fight it, next time on Parents in the Know.

Thanks for listening!
