Show Notes

Today on Parents in the Know, we have another great episode from our interview series. Today I’m very pleased to welcome Naomi Gora onto the show. Naomi is the creator of Lift Magazine, the e-mag for any mum flying solo.

As a fellow single mum, I was delighted to discover Naomi’s magazine and website as it is full of wonderful resources, articles, competitions, events and stories about single motherhood from around the world, and not only that, she comes from the same gorgeous place as me, Tasmania.

Lift Magazine was born from Naomi’s unexpected arrival in the world of single parenting a few years ago. Trying to make sense of her new reality, she started a blog which quickly took on a life of its own. Now Lift Magazine is published quarterly and brings support, encouragement and inspiration to thousands of single mums all across Australia and the world.

If you want to leave a comment or ask a question about this episode, please go to www.parentresourcecentre.com. Members there can access full transcripts and resource links to each episode of this podcast, as well as plenty more articles, interviews, printable resources and more. Don’t forget to check out Lift Magazine either. And if you enjoyed this episode, it would be wonderful if you could leave a review on iTunes or Stitcher, to help more people discover this podcast.
