Whatever stage of the parenting journey you’re on, we’re here to show you you’re not alone. I’m Emily M Morgan and today’s amazing parent is Melissa Packwood from Florida in the United States. I can’t wait to share her story with you.
Melissa is an education expert with years of teaching and tutoring experience. She has three kids, two of whom have sensory issues, which has involved a lot of learning for Melissa, in order to ensure her children are receiving the support that they need, and Melissa has had to find ways to adapt her parenting style to suit all of her unique kids – turns out she had more to learn than she imagined at the start of her journey! I think we can all relate.
Please support Melissa by leaving a supportive and respectful comment right here. You can also support her by visiting her website, http://educational-strategies.com, which has resources and services on education and behavior. And checking out her ebook, Expand Your Parenting Toolbox: Create a More Peaceful Home, which you can find at Amazon Kindle. Take care, and I’ll see YOU next week with another amazing and inspiring parent.
PS – we discussed helicopter parenting today. If you’d like to find out more about this topic, listen to another episode of our podcast for a great overview of the theory and practice: http://parentresourcecentre.com/podcast-5-helicopter-vs-free-range-parenting/
