Parents in the Know Podcast

Food Aversion

This is the 41st  episode of my podcast for parents and families who want to be in the know about major parenting concerns and issues. Food Aversion is the topic under discussion today and it’s a doozy.

You can listen to the podcast here. And if you like what you hear, a review on iTunes will help others discover this podcast. Thank you so much in advance!

See the show notes and great resource links below. Please leave a comment here or email Emily M Morgan at writetoemhere@gmail.com if you’d like a topic discussed on the podcast, or if you have something to say about the content on this podcast. I can’t wait to hear from you!

I want to know exactly what information you’d like to know. Send me a quick voice message – it’s completely free – and let me know your question, or what kind of expert or parent you might like to hear from, and I might build an episode or even an online course just for you.

Show Notes

Today on Parents in the Know, we have an amazing interview to share with you. Today I’m very happy to welcome a good friend of mine onto the show to talk about his experiences as a parent to a child with a condition known as food refusal. He has requested to remain anonymous for this interview, which is more than OK, considering his generosity in sharing his story with you on this poorly-understood topic.

The stress, trauma and heartbreak that this family has undergone and continues to undergo will open your eyes and educate you on the dangers of sustained misdiagnosis, and you will begin to see why it is so risky to judge a family or situation which you can’t possibly know the back story about.

If you want to leave a comment or ask a question about this episode, please go to www.parentresourcecentre.com. Here you’ll find expert articles, a directory of great services for parents, stories of parenting from around the word and much more. Full transcripts of this podcast are available at the website. And if you enjoyed this episode, it would be wonderful if you could leave a review on iTunes or Stitcher, to help more people discover this podcast.

Thanks for listening.
